A short walk around the Puerta del Sol, the square where all Spain's roads begin. You'll see the statue of the Oso y el Madroño, you'll stand on the kilometre zero plaque and you'll look up at the clock of the twelve chimes. It's less than half a kilometre of walking: almost everything is in the square itself and its side streets, at an easy pace and without going into any museums.

How to book this tour
There are two ways and you can use whichever you prefer:
Join an already scheduled departure
Fixed date and time. Confirmed: your spot is guaranteed. In formation: you sign up and only pay when it goes ahead. Either way, the amount is held and charged 24 h before departure. If you book more than a month ahead, it's charged at booking.
Form a group with your preferences
Does no departure fit? Tell us times and languages. When enough of you come together, we open the departure and let you know.

Seasonal note. On 31 December the square fills up for the twelve chimes. In summer, at midday, there's no shade: early morning is better.
