The Salamanca district was drawn on paper before a single house was built: straight streets that cross each other, like a grid. You walk along the Calle de Serrano, the street of shop windows, pass the Mercado de la Paz and end at the palace with a garden that houses the Museo Lázaro Galdiano. Two and a half hours of gentle walking, with a guide.
